    Red onion wine sauce?
I am looking for a recipe that uses a red onion, red wine, and garlic to create a sauce to be used on a fillet mignon. I see red wine sauce but not a red onion wine sauce. This is something I read about in conjunction spinach mashed potatoes. I can find recipes for spinach mashed potatoes but coming up blank on a red onion wine sauce... Thanks in advance for any help I can get with a recipe.

One of my families favorites is a fruity red wine, a tablespoon of butter then simmer slowly. Add about a half cup of chopped green onions. YUMMIE!

Thanks for the disagree, at least I was the only person to help you. You know, maybe if you tried it you and your family would like it.

    Sheesh, some people.
