Can a tenant be charged for re pairs to clogged shower drains
I live in a owner occupied 2 unit in NJ. The clogs in a shower drain and toilet drain is found to be on tenant side of plumbing... all my drains prove clear. Are they responsible for repair and if they do not repair it can I take it from security deposit.

The tenant evidently caused the clogs? They would be responsible.
