Movie 1 - Older movie, not sure when from, prob the 80's, an old man owns a run down apartment building (I think new york) and takes his son on rent day to collect the rent. One day in the future the old man leaves the building to his son, he does the same collecting the rent, he somehow has a revolution to fix the building up and not up the rents ?

Movie 2 - Older movie again, prob 80's, a lady is married to a race car driver and he dies in a crash. One day in the future (it is set in the future) someone brings him back to life somehow by zapping him from a video and he goes and knocks on her door, she does not believe it is him because she seen him die.

It is bugging me what these movies are.
