    I have a broken tooth
    I have afront tooth that's split in half, it don't have a cavity. My dentist wants to pull it, but I want to keep it its not bothering me, if its pulled it'll leave a gap, also I have a tooth broken off at gumline from a cavity, its not bothering me and its been that way for 4 years so wo't it be OK to leave it.. Please advise, I want to avoid going to the dentist

    As long as there is no infection and your not in pain your fine to let it go. But if you do have any kind of infection you need to get on a round of antibiotics. Infection can be very dangerous and lead to swelling down in your throat area and cut off breathing.

    You have a tooth broken off at the gum line from a bad tooth, and you are not concerned about decay under the gum line ?

    And you would rather have a broken tooth ,than a missing tooth ? How about a implant ? Then neither. Sounds like at least two teeth missing, any more ?
