    I want my dark brown hair red
    Hi, I went to the hairdressers at the weekend and asked for my dark brown hair to be dyed red. They put a mahogany colour on it - but you can hardly see it. I don't want to go bright red but I would like to have a colour that I can see. I can only see the red color if I stand in a certain light. I am planning to go back to the hairdressers and ask for another red colour in a couple of weeks. Any ideas on which red to ask for? What red would show up on my dark brown locks?

    To put any red over dark brown you would have to lighten some or all of your hair first. Have it bleached in just some small streaks first to see how you like it.
