I am a 14 year old guy and I really like this girl, but she is 19. What should I do? Like, is it OK? Age doesn't really matter does it? I don't want a sexual relationship, I just want a relationship with her. She's beautiful and sweet.

Age does matter! It matters less and less as one gets older, but at your age it matters greatly.

The one thing you don't say is how she feels about you. How do you know her?

I would suspect that a 19 yr old would not want a romantic relationship with a 14 yr old, whatever their genders. So I doubt this is going to happen.

Her parents and my parents are really good friends.

And I don't know how she feels about me. We are just really good friends.

Frankly, I really doubt if she sees the friendship the same way you do. I would suspect, that she views you more like a little brother she grew up with.

At 14 your feelings towards girls are really just starting to develop. So you can't really be sure how you feel. I suggest you concentrate on girls your own age and not set yourself up for disappointment. If you express your feelings towards her, she may back off on whatever friendship you have to not give you the wrong idea.

And to be very blunt, you can really risk losing what friendship you have with her if you try to move this from friends to a girlfriend.

You and her are at two totally different levels. She will be wanting a boyfriend with a job, someone to go out late at night, not someone with a 10 pm curfew
