My son has had a rash on his forehead for over a year.
My son has had a rash on his forehead for over a year. His own doctor took a punch biopsy a year ago and said it came back as a fungal infection. I waited over a year to get in to see a dermatologist today and she said it wasn't a fungal infection at all but that the original biopsy came back as normal bacteria on the skin. Why he was given lamasil pills and cream I have no idea! Anyway, she doesn't know what it is... after waiting over a year she argued with me stating that it was a birth mark and she asked for proof of a picture of him when he was younger showing that he didn't have this mark. I am so FRUSTRATED! I think I would know if my son had a birthmark on his forehead or not... The dermatologist suggested taking another biopsy to test for other "things"... I have lost faith in both of these doctors and I need to find one that knows something... can you help?
