A landlord can't just kick out a tenant under any circumstances. If the tenancy has been terminated by one of the parties giving a 30 day notice and the tenant does not leave within that time then the landlord has to file a lawsuit for eviction. The time for filing the lawsuit, going through the trial and having the sheriff perform the eviction can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months, depending on the location and the court schedule.

If the 30 day period passes and the landlord tries to change the locks without having a court order, call the police.

Amber you really need to tell us the whole story. Why is the LL giving you notice and where do you live. Your disability will likely have no affect on the lease.
