    Installing outdoor lights?
We want to install new outside lights on either side of our garage doors. The old lights did not have a ground wire, so there is a ground wire coming from the wall. These new lights have a copper ground wire. Do we have to use the new lights copper ground wire or should we still be using the one from the wall?

The ground wire from the light and the one from the wall should be wire nutted together with a wire pigtail. Push the ground wires to back of box and mount the pigtail to the box with a grounding clip.
