    My dog won't drink water
    My dog was sprayed in the face by a skunk 2days ago and since yestarday she won't drink any water, she eats well and she will drink milk and v8 juice. Should I be worried?

    She drinks V8 juice? I thought MY dogs ate anything and everything but that's where they turn their noses up. As long as she's not getting dehydrated I'd see what happens next. It's very possible that plain water doesn't cover the skunk scent that's still in her mouth. Oher beverages do.

    You can try adding a splash of puppy milk to regular water so she's not just getting extra calories (I hope you aren't giving cows milk as dogs are lactose intollerant) and sugars from the juice.

    Judy makes a very good point, the water may taste horrible as by itself it is tasteless and the dog still feels like she has a mouth full of skunk.
