    Gas Water Heater Leaking
I have a state select water heater and there is a pool of water under the base of the unit. There is no leaking all around the unit, just under the unit where the base is. The place the heater sits on.

If you don't see any leaks from the piping, you probably have a hole in the tank. Not good new but it happens to all of them sooner or later.
