Here is what I would do. Get two rolls of pennies and flush them down the toilet. After the toilet has completed the flushing cycle count how many pennies are left in the bowl. If there are half of them left you can safely bet you have 50psi. (50 out of 100) If 60 are left then you have 60psi... an old trick my father the plumber thought me. Resist the temptation to do your business during your test as you'll have a difficult time counting the pennies after the flush and the added material in the bowl can skew the results. Now once you have established what your psi is you can investigate ways to increase or decrease the pressure. If your pressure is to high the easiest and most cost effective remedy is to tape a sock over each faucet in your home. I have tested several brands and I have found fruit-of-the-loom lends the most reliable results and is available in many stylish colors that are sure to match your décor. Now, if your pressure is to low, I would suggest starting with the water heater. Attach a car battery to the leads on the water heater IN REVERSE Negative to positive and positive to negative. As we all know that car batteries have a reverse electrical flow and you don't want to short out your water heater. The battery will give your water heater the extra voltage it needs to increase the pressure. If your still not getting enough pressure you should turn the water heater thermostat to the maximum setting. This will cause the water in the tank to expand and in-turn increase the pressure.

Wow, good one Skip. Maybe you should post this under comedy and humor. However, there is no place here for your joke. Believe it or not, some idiot might see this and actually try one of these things and get himself killed (with the battery fix) or at the very least end up with a plugged sewer, or damaged ejector pump(if on a sewer ejector system). I very seldom put folks information down, but nothing you said is in any way good for anyone regarding plumbing whatsoever. Im sure you were just joshing, but if you were serious, please come on back for some back and forth with the plumbers here and let us know where you are really coming from.
