I want to block my step mom from seeing anything on my Facebook. Were not friends on Facebook but she can still see my profile pictures. I made a fake account, went to my profile but you could see my profile pictures from there. You could see who I added as friends on my wall, and I don't want any of that to be visible to anyone who isn't my friend. Facebook has changed so much, I'm not sure how to anymore. Please help
Ps. I want to do it without blocking her. She would know if I blocked her and be angry.

Facebook has a long tradition of security mishaps or misconfiguration or not being able to explain to users how to use the security settings. If you want a private Facebook profile don't have a Facebook profile. I can only judge Facebook's commitment to privacy from their past performance and from that standpoint I am not of the opinion that they can provide a secure environment even if it was in their interest. Just regard all information stored or shared on a social media site as public and you will be better prepared. It is not Facebook's job to guard your privacy, identity or reputation that is yours alone remember this and act accordingly and you should be OK.
