    Finding trust fund
I'm in the same situation. I was attacked by a dog when I was 7 and the insurance company told me my settlement was in a trust fund but for some reason nobody knows which bank it is in.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

Have you contacted the insurance company?

Normally it is not "put in a bank" the insurance company holds the money in one of their funds, to be released by the insurance company when the person turns either 18 or 21.

You contact the insurance company. IF they did pay the money out to anyone, they would have a record of that.
