    Old irish song 50s or 60s I think
    An old friend who passed away had this song on a 45 record and it got broken
    Can you please help me it had the words The judge said stand up lads and dry up your tears your sentenced to dartmoor for 21 years.I think the name of it was 21 years does anyone know who sang it and what year thank you vary much.

    Yes the sing is called tweny one years see link Twenty-One Years (Bob Miller) as it is a folk song it has probably been sung by a few people so I would suggest a Google search to find the right person

    This song is called "The Prisoner". The album I know it from is Paddy Noonan and his Grand Band. The song is sung by Mike "Jesse" Owens. I've posted the lyrics on wowlyrics.com and also on The Mudcat café http://mudcat.org
