    Colorado roommate law?
I rcently moved into a home that has 5 other tenants and the landlord lives here as well. I have been here for about a mont and am having a problem with one of the tenants. He is a 45 year old male, who is a recovering drug user of two years. I state that to say that I believe he still uses certain medications for recovery that don't make his thinking so clear all the time. I feel that I am being harassed by this person in a verry passive way. He sprays this bug spray by my room that really gives me head aches, irritates my eyes, and is just not tolerable at all for me. I have spoken with him at least two times about it, and first he was apologetic. Then he said I won't do it when your around, then he said, he didn't know I was around then. I told the landlord about it twice and the third time about two days ago, I called a meeting for the three of us to talk about it. I stated all the things bothering me, and he said that he hasn't being spraying anything. I addressed the name calling, his spitting in the kitchen sink, him walking around half naked, and him nearly living in the common areas for days at a time. The landlord said first come first serve about the leaving area, and that he shouldn't spray the bug spray. I was a painful meeting because this guy broke out crying, and used all sorts of manipulation, and really just raised my blood pressure.
My question is, do I have to give my landlord a 2 month notice before I can just leave, with the rest of the months rent money? I mean I just want to go. I want him to give me back what's left of the months rent that I haven't lived here, and I will gladly leave. I see that nothing will change except me becoming more and more unhappy and uncomfortable, and for some reason this guy has got it out for me. He won't stop harassing me until I leave which is fine with me. He told me that I need to get my own place.
What can I do, I feel backed into a corner.

Do you have a lease? If so, when does it expire?

In any case you need to talk to the landlord and see if he will let you out of the lease or let you move and with what financial considerations. He can definitely hold you to a 30 day notice and charge you rent to that point. If you have a lease, he can hold you honor it.

Can I also add:if you paid a deposit besides your rent when you moved in and you don't complete your moving out notice, then the landlord can withhold your deposit if you leave without notice.
