    Sexually Transmitted Disease, Herpes.
I went to the ER the other night because I hadn't been able to eat for a few days due to pain in my mouth and throat. The doctor looked at my mouth, said "i think its herpes", gave me medicine and sent me on my way. He didn't give me any information other than to take me medicine and follow up with another doctor in a few days. (which I can't do, due to lack of insurance) I've been freaking out, and researching like crazy, but I end up having panic/anxiety attacks. What should I do? Does anyone know of any sites that are REALLY helpful?

Find a free clinic in your area.

The medicine will suppress the symptoms and help control outbreaks.

No website will be able to do that. Sorry, but there really is no other option... nobody can diagnose you online, and nobody can run tests online... and nobody can even prescribe you medicine online.

And no... there is no cure for it at this time.
