I had sex with my boyfriend the day my period ended. The condom broke and I took Plan B 10 hours later. I got bleeding a week later for about 6 days. Was this my period? Could I be pregnant? When should I expect a period? Thanks.

Any time you have sexual intercourse you risk pregnancy. There is no way for us to judge. Wait a month and take a pregnancy test.

No one should be engaging in sexual intercourse unless they are financially, emotionally and physically prepared to have a child. Since you posted this in Child and Teen health I assume you are underage, which may present legal issues for your boyfriend.

Tennis. Welcome to the site. The child and teen health board is in fact an opinion board, and when you post, you are asking our volunteers what they think. The terms of service and the board stickies are a good place for information on what to expect. If you would like a medical diagnosis, you need to see a physician, as we cannot tell you if you are pregnant online. As Scott said, if you had sex, you could be pregnant. There is nothing you can do but find out either way.

That should not have been the case. But if this category is inappropriate please let us know your age so we can move it to the correct category.

As for asking for my opinion, you may not understand how a site like this works. Once you post a question, you open it up to anyone who wants to respond. In effect, the act of posting DOES ask for opinions from anyone who wants to comment. If you feel the response violated our rules, feel free to use the Report Inappropriate Post link. But other than that please do not try to dictate who can respond and how.
