    When does the statutes of limitations run out in because?
    A mother lent her son a large sum of money and he hasn't been in touch since. She has tried different ways to find him
    But no luck. I'm not sure of the date but I think it was around 1997 or 1998. I don't want to ask her, because she doesn't know I'm doing this.

    If you mean British Columbia it's a lot less that 10 teara so it should have run out. Doesn't the debt isn't still owed.
