    Harley davidson troubleshooting?
    2000 Heritage Softail classic
    Fuel Leak, on-off valve.

    I tried a new diaphram

Leaks gas with engine running only.

If I turn the valve to off position, the leak stops immediately.
I bought a new diaphram ($32) and it didn't change. I put a new clamp on the fuel line.

Do you think I should buy a new valve (over $100)and try it. I can't see how there can be anything wrong with the valve, I had it apart when I put the new diaphram in.

Thanks in advance for any help, 69 year old Harley Rider. Bob
