Well, this will take a while If I have to write everything. I will you give the clips version.

Basically it all started when we were 14 (He was a year older than me) so he was 15. We met at school, actually I met him through his girlfriend at the time. We became good friends, and just stayed at that. Throughout the years until I was 16 (him 17) we liked each other very, VERY much :-) From the beginning he asked me out, told me he had deep feelings for me and wanted to go out with me. Me? I was a very shy, intimidated person back in school so I said... No. - Biggest mistake!

I turned 15, he turned 16 and it was time for him to leave school and do his summer exams, when all of a sudden he told me he was moving to Scotland. After that, he did his exams and he left. 5 years on (I'm 19 and he's 20) and we still love each other. We tend to go in and out of fits of talking to one another as he has a life in Scotland and I have a life in England. He sees other girls and I see other guys, but we still love each other after all this time. Just 2 months ago, we were talking and he told me this

So what do you think? Does he still love me? Even though he ignored me to get a girlfriend? Does he's still have feelings for me?/! Tell me what to do, because for the past 5 years I've tried to forget him. (HONESTLY tried!) but I just can't... I feel so happy with him. First one has to believe that someone is "meant" to be with someone, real adult relationships are those that take work, it takes communication. If he really loved you, or if you really loved him, you could not even think about dating someone else, you would be making plans on getting and being together as adults.

You have the love of youth, but don't seem to have ever had a adult dating relationship.

Go for it. It may or may not work but by the sounds of it he loves you now and that's what matters.
