Hello, I'm a 17 year old female. A year ago I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured. I went to the ER and that's what they think happened. My periods became irregular for about 6 months. Sometimes they wouldn't show up for 6-8 weeks at a time or they'd be super short. My periods usually last 6 days starting light then getting heavier by the 3rd day. Over the summer they became regular again. Until this month. My period came late. I was having a sharp pain in my lower right quadrant it felt like another ovarian cyst. I never went to get checked out. I had spotting in the middle of the month, I thought it was just irregular but yesterday I got my period. It was extremely heavy. I've been passing lots of blood clots is this normal? Should I see an ob/ gyn to see if another cyst has formed? Any advice offered I'll take it!!
