Rear ended and don't know how much to ask for pain and suffering
I too was waiting at a red light when I was hit by an SUV. The driver admitted to fault. The car is being repaired. The insurance contacted my mother who is the owner of the car but I was driving. We had no major injuries but are having back pain. Insurance offer to pay medical and $500 to my mother. I'm not sure how much to ask for my pain and suffering. What would be a fair amount to ask?

Nothing. The insurance company will not pay pain or suffering. They will pay for medical bills so don't sign anything until all your medical care is completed.

If you want pain and suffering you need to contact an accident attorney and sue.

They already offer to pay medical bills and $500. So they are not planning on paying more than $500, by the way I live in CA.
