    Gold Robot Movie from 80's/90's?
    I'm afraid my memories of this are very unclear so I apologise, but I remember as a young kid in the 90's watching a movie about a robot. Sadly, I don't remember much about the actual movie, except at the end of it, the robot dies/is thought to have died but then it turns out he's alive and he's changed from what I think was silver into a gold colour?

    It's a very vague description, but I'm hoping someone recognises this and I'm not making this up...
