    I have another kinematics study question
    At the instant when the traffic light turns green, an automobile starts with a constant acceleration of 1.8m/s^2 . At the same instant a truck traveling with a constant speed of 8.5m/s overtakes and passes the automobile

    A) how far beyond the starting point will the automobile overtake the truck?
    B) how fast will the car be traveling at that instant?

    An easy way to get this question without doing any mistake is to make use of graphs and their properties. A v-t graph would be the most useful here.
