    Growing Tomatoes in Pots Outside?
    Why are some of my tomatoes getting black spots on the bottom of tomatoes as they ripen?

    It is probably from your soil varying widely in moisture content, from very wet to very dry. It sounds like "Blossom End Rot". You need to keep the soil consistently moist without the wild swings. You should remove the affected tomatoes.
