The flywheel of a steam engine runs with a constant angular speed of 131 rev/min. When steam is shut off, the friction of the bearings and the air brings the wheel to rest in 1.2 h. What is the magnitude of the constant angular acceleration of the wheel in rev/min^2? Do not enter the units.
How many rotations does the wheel make before coming to rest?
What is the magnitude of the tangential component of the linear acceleration of a particle that is located at a distance of 57 from the axis of rotation when the flywheel is turning at 65.5 rev/min?
What is the magnitude of the net linear acceleration of the particle in the above question?

You are apparently not getting the message here. We will NOT do your homework for you. You have to show us that you have attempted to do the work, by posting your answer or how you tried to arrive at it.

Any further posts that do not show an attempt to do the work yourself will be removed.

Also, please do not use the same title for multiple posts this is just confusing.

Also, I already gave you the equations to solve such problems but you never came back to those questions, so I guessed you understood them well. But this is getting excessive... Also, "Do not enter the units"... really? Units and dimensions are one of the fundamentals in physics.

As much as '57' needs to have a unit. Because it could be 57 nm, the speed wouldn't be impressive, but if it was 57 light years long... that'd would technically be going several times faster than light.
