    I don't get it
I had been with my girlfriend for about 6 months until she broke up with me last Sunday. She says she was just too busy and stressed and didn't think she could do it right now. But the part that I don't understand is that she says she still loves me and she thinks that I am "the one" for her. She says she believes that we will work out eventually and everything will be fine, just not right now. If she feels this this way then how can she just give up because things aren't really easy right now? I just don't know what to do.

This is normally called trying to be nice and let you down easy,

If she had said , she can't stand you, don't ever want to see you again, most likely not a good break up.

Of course only she knows why she said these things and only she knows how she really feels, but these are fairly standard break up lies to make it go easier

She is trying to be kind and let you down easy. Let her! Leave her alone is what you do.

If she thought you were really 'the one' she would never have let you go and that's the long and short of it. Let her go , you'll meet someone else and will kick yourself for fretting over someone who's playing with your mind by telling you things that will make the break up harder!

Normally I would definitely agree with you guys but its different this time. We have stall talked and she swears I am the one twice. But I really don't care anymore so I'm not going to worry about it.

If you were "the one" then you would be together. Right?

Words are words. But actions speak volumes.

Spend the next 6 months single.

"She says she believes that we will work out eventually"

Ha! If you believe that, I also have some swamp property to sell you.

Let me know if you are interested.
