    Opt to h1b & 1040EZ
I came to US in Aug 2004 and graduated in Dec 2005. I was doing my OPT from Jan 5, 2006 till Sep 30, 2006 and am now in my H1B. I filed 1040 NR-EZ & 8843 for 2004 tax return and 1040EZ for 2005 (I guess that's a mistake). I believe I am to file 1040 NR-EZ for 2006 and when I tried doing that using ISTax (online software) it says my refund is $0.00. Am I doing it correctly? Do I have to talk to IRS about filing 1040EZ last year? What should I be filing for this year. Any advice and help will be greatly appreciated.

You should have filed NR in each of the years 2004, 2005 and 2006. You need to file an amended return for 2005. You can file a 1040NR this year.
