Help me! Blushing all the time without reason - Ruining my life
I am so upset right now... I am having major issues with blushing all the time. It has been happening for a while now.. It happens when I am having conversations and it is ruining my life. I started a new job and it kept on happening, when it happens people either laugh and ask why I ma blushing or turn away from me... I feel as if this is embarrassing other people because they don't understand why I am blushing. I left the job because it got so bad and it is slowly chipping away at my confidence. I don't know what to do? This is seriously ruining my life

Very fair skinned people can have this, does that describe you?
How old are you and when did it start?
I went through about a year of blushing but only when young, and only in class. It went away for no reason that I ever knew.
Blushing is the nervous system opening capillaries. There are many more on the face than elsewhere.
It could be both physiological and emotional. We all might blush if we had the chemistry to do so as easily triggered as you do. You might have an adrenaline response that is more than other people's. Adrenaline isn't just for 'fight or flight' but keeps us going through much of our day.
I would find a good therapist, one who can talk you out of feeling self conscious when it starts.
You can tell people that you blush all the time and just laugh it off, without actually laughing, since you probably won't feel like laughing. Just calmly and quickly dismiss it as harmless and meaningless.
As for all the possible emotional reasons, explore that too. Can you think of anything that changed in your life when it started? Any old or new secrets, anything awful happen you, any worries about your life in general (other than this)?

Hi, I am 17 and I am fair skinned. I am unable to laugh it off anymore and I'm finding it really hard to function. I sweat lots when I blush also which is making the situation worse. Thanks for your comments... Really helpful.

Keep in mind that you could have something wrong physically. It's impossible to tell online and even most doctors will refer you to a therapist unless other symptoms develop to indicate some sort of endocrine or nervous system disturbance. Because teens have wildly fluctuating hormones, and not just female and male hormones like estrogen and testosterone, doctors may also tell you that it will pass. But only you know if you have some emotional matters to attend to.
You could possibly look into disability if you had insurance at work. But at 17, aren't you in school still?

Haha hi! I'm a regular blusher, too and I have no problems with it! I blush when I smile, laugh, have feelings for someone or just being teased! I don't mind and don't see why people stress over it or beat themselves up for it! It's a natural thing and you should embrace it! Its adorable but when someone teases you or laughs at you for it like for example, "oh look your blushing how cute!" At that point when someone mentions it I just blush red and laugh about it! I make fun of myself and don't worry about it at all,but that's just me. Im a pretty care free person and I solve things with humor. Its easier that way. (:
