    Public Restroom Cameras?
    Does anyone know if it is illegal to place cameras in public restrooms, even if it is a 24/7 gym? I would imagine that it is against the law but I'm just curious.

    Yes it is illegal to have cameras in bathrooms as far as I know, especially if it is a bathroom that doesn't have stalls.

    It may be different depending on where you are, but as far as I know, the rule is that you can not "see" the uranels, or directly on the toilet. Being able to see the sinks is considered OK and the camera needs to be in plain view.

    I have been researching it a lot lately because I'm writing an English paper on whether it should be allowed. The only thing that I've came across is that it is allowed in Ohio but only when it's used by the police force in investigations. http://jacemiller12.hubpages.com/hub/Cameras-in-Public-Restrooms

    Hello again,

    What I SAID was you can take a CRAP in private, and I MEANT every word. If the person who CHANGED what I WROTE doesn't like what I WRITE on this website, they should tell ME directly, and I'll go somewhere where they DO like what I write.
