What can cause elevated liver enzyms during pregnantcy?
I was in the ER last night, being really dizzy and throwing up. They did my blood work and found that my liver enzyms were elevated.. So, the had me do a 24 hour urin test for pre-eclampsia that I turned in today and got more blood work done... Now I am waiting for test results and its killing me... Any ideas of why this can be and if it is pre-eclampsia then what will they do from there oh yeah I am 29 weeks

Liver enzymes are typically elevated with pre-eclampsia as you already know. If that is the diagnosis after your test results come back it's quite possible that you will be put on medication for high blood pressure to lower your pressures until delivery of the baby is safe.

It is also possible, but not probable, that you have something called HELLP syndrome, so your blood will need to be tested as well.

They should be testing your platelets then. Keep me posted on what you find out!
