    What do con edison meter readers use?
    Con Edison Co. Of New York meter readers use 'PET' a hand-held device. What are the functions of this device?

    Probably for job scheduling and to record the meter readings, at a guess.

    It is simply an electronic devise for recording the numbers on your electric meter. It takes the place of hand written and paper.
