    Dishwasher Smells
    I have the same problem, any correlation between that and detergent Finish gelpacs. They work great but it seems I didn't have this problem until I started using them... Any thoughts? I'm going to try the bleach and maybe just make that part of my daily routine as well.. I have a Frigidaire

    You piggybacked on a old thread so I gave you one of your own.
    At the very bottom of the tub there is a sump full of standing water. Sponge out the sump and clean it out with bleach. Bad stuff can build up in that sump and it should be cleaned on a regular basis, Good luck, Tom

    When was the last time you cleaned filter screen on the bottom of your dishwasher ?

    What's the brand name of your DW? How old? Did you remove the kick plate and clean the screens on the inlet as Milo suggested? And did you clean the sump? Back to you. Tom
