I am dating a man who is newly divorced. He has an 8 year old daughter and 5 year old boy and shares custody with his ex. They have movie nights on Friday when he has the kids and I have been invited on several occasions. I know the father is a very "touch guy" and loves to cuddle and kiss. So, he has taught his kids to like to cuddle which I thought was cute. However, the other night when I was sitting with his daughter and he was sitting with his son, I became very uncomfortable. He was rubbing and tickling his son's thighs and buttocks while his son sat on his lap and then twice his hand touched his private area and then he stopped. I didn't know what to say.. If he was doing that to me it would in every way be sexual. What do I do and say?

Hard to say as I was not there. However if you think that this was totally wrong then I would sit down and discuss this with him. Listen carefully to his response and make up your mind.

He will lprobably say that it was innocent and it may well have been. But I suggest that you keep your 'eyes' open to more of this type of action on his part.

If it were me, I'd do ONE of the following. I'd watch further to see if your suspicions are CONFIRMED. IF so, then I'd simply and undramatically END the relationship. OR, if you find your suspicions are UNCONFIRMED, you can continue with the relationship having NEVER made waves.

For what it's worth. A 5 year old kids butt LOOKS like a cheeseburger, and, to my children's great delight, I pretended to chomp down on it. I played that game with every one of my three boys... I suppose if someone had observed me doing that, they COULD have thought I was a perv... But, I ain't. Maybe your boyfriend isn't either.

I can not say or tell without seeing how and what was going on. It could well be merely tickling and playing with the kids.
