    I'm five weeks am I supoosed to be spotting?
    I just found out that I am five weeks pregnant by my health department, which I really do not know exactly if that is true because I lost track of my menstrual cycle for August, so I could be lesser than that, My doctors appointment is on the 19th. Any who, I have been spotting on and off for 2 1/2 days now and I want to know is this normal or am I having a miscarriage? I have two other kids, but its been almost 7 years since I have been pregnant and I can't remember what its like. Please help.

    It's not uncommon to spot in early pregnancy. As long as there is no bright red bleeding accompanied with cramping or abdominal pain you should be fine.

    What I suggest is that you call the doctor's office and explain this to them to see if you can get in earlier than the 19th.

    Thanks I will definitely call my doctor because just this morning it was a little bright red when I wiped! And I also do not even have an appetite.
