Salaam zakir bhai.

My husband got married to his ex-wife in 2007, and divorced her in 2009. He agreed to pay 9 lakhs alimony, but paid only 4 lakhs till date. Meanwhile, he got married to me in 2011, and bought me to Jeddah after marriage as he works here. Since 1 year my husband was threatening me, that he will call his ex-wife back, due to a rift between him, and my family, and was in contact with her last year for couple of months. But later he stopped that.

Now my husband's ex-wife is staying in my husbands house since 2 months in India. My in-laws bought her back. My husband wants me to stay with him, and says he divorced her, and has no interest in her, but he is not ready to confront his family, nor that girls family.

My question to you is this legally correct, and can this be correct according to Islam? I want to know what actions can I take legally, to stop this wrong deed? Please advise, and oblige

If he loves you enough to marry you why can't he just let the families now that it oyu and you only and she is the past... having her around will only give him easy access to go see her... you can never be too certain...
