2 outside ac units for diff zones in the house and seems all of a sudden neither is getting signal or power to turn on to condense cold air? Checked breakers but not the outside ones as they looked OK?/?? Any sugg's

I would check your Breakers, that should be the only thing common with both, if 2 units.
If 1 unit an 2 zones it may be different, can you confirm which?
Do you have 2 thermostats?

Yes --- 2 Zones / 2 Units, fans in attic kick on but outside units no! Thermostat batt's changed and fresh. Each unit is on their own direct line to the breaker box. There are outside breakers that are the cylender type but why would they both go at the same time?

I would check:
Both inside breakers disconnects are On/reset, both outside breakers are on/reset, verify voltage out of the 4 disconnects have power out.
Only other way I could think affecting both is if recent remodeling/construction severed both control wiring of both units.
Does the inside blower work?
I believe you have 2 units.
2 zones are usually 1 unit?

2 blowers in attic /// 2 units outside. Yes blowers (for both work), outside condensors do not kick on. Mind you the thermostat wires from attic to outside units run from attic through ( I think) soffit down a downspout to the (2) units (seperately).

Do you have voltage out of outside disconnects?
Then , do you have 24 volts at outside compressor contactor coils, If so, do they energize and put 240 volts out of load side of contactor?
If 24 volts is present, thermostat is sending voltage and control wiring is good.

2 Questions:

Do you have 240 volts out of contactor/out of disconnect?
And
Do you have 24 volts present at contactor coil when thermostat is set to cool?
