Probation violation in Alabama but in Texas jail
I'm new to all this... my fiancé has a felony probation violation in Alabama but currently is residing in Texas. He was arrested due to the warrant Alabama had on him. Only thing he did was not report, no drug usage, drinking or anything. Does anyone know what happens from here? Can he bond out? Could they reinstate his probation here in Texas? Can I speak for him, since he's in jail? Will they come get him? Any information would be appreciated thanks...

Your visits will depend on the rules of the jail, most have visitation on certain days. Just contact the jail.
They will take him back to Alabama for court, if all he did was miss a meeting, then most likely they will just put him back on probation with a warning. I will assume the Alabama court gave him permission to move and live in Texas. ( if not that is an entire other issue) |
