    Confederate money is it fake or not
    Hi I am ms. White and I resently inherited some confederate bill like thousands of dollars and I would like to know if it is real and can I sell it, it say that the hold of this money should get doller for doller it is from the 1800's I believe from virginia , richmond to be exact what I would like to know is can I sell it and what does a fake looks like cause I do not want to waste any ones time thank you

    You can sell it. (Even if it's a fake, when it's defunct money) You can't get dollar for dollar of course. Take 2 or 3 to a coin dealer, and if there isn't one nearby, a pawn shop or jeweler, or even list some on eBay. Go to your library for a book of pictures of Confederate bills.
