    About 10 day old kitten
I found a baby kitten in my back yard ten days ago and she was a newborn about a day old when I found her. I have been feeding her KMR and she's doing wonderful she has strength she tries to walk she sits around and moves her head with eyes open as if she was looking BUT! When I clean her eyes which constantly has crust outside and when she opens them it has a white tissue like thing and the small little red part everyone has in the eyes well her is sort of reddish yet pink and I don't know I'm scared she might be blind or if she has an infection but I am constantly cleaning her eye crust and a sort of clear and foggy at times liquid sometimes comes out on the cloth that I clean her with... Im a new kitten owner I have no idea what to do , if I am taking care of her correctly I don't know I need help I don't want her to be blind...

Can you get her to a vet? That would be the best thing to do, to find out what's going on with her eyes. Her own mother's milk would give her antibodies to fight infection. Since she missed out on getting that, she may need a shot.

Thanks you guys I am taking her tomorrow at 2 pm I called in to the emergency pet hospital and the nurse told me to go into the bathroom and turn on the shower to hot steaming water so she could breathe in those fumes of vapor... I am so worried I have read that most die in a disease called aspiration pneumonia. And it's the symptoms my baby Milly has I don't know what to do she's hungry and she tries to hog up the bottle but at the same time it runs down her nose.

Do you have a plastic eye dropper that you can drip milk into her mouth? Or soak a small piece of washcloth over and over again with milk and let her suck on that?

Hey guys I took her to the vet!! And I heard wonderful news! She's super healthy lol she has a great heart beat and a great apetite she only has a small eye infection but I got her meds and she's finally how do I say legal? She's a girl and I named her MILLY =) and the reason she threw milk out threw her nose was because she was too excited for the milk so she would drink really fast but she has gotten bigger and I try to control her drinking but she hasn't leaked any milk which is wonderful news to me I'm a bit worried because I start school next week and I don't know how I am going to leave her alone? I just hope she doesn't starve while I'm out? What can I do? Should I leave moist food because she is starting to lick me but I doubt she will eat on her own.

Kittens won't really start to eat solid food until about 4 weeks old. Before that, they may mouth at it, but they won't eat enough to really feed them, more like a few crumbs here and there.

You can leave a low dish of food out for her. It'll at least get her used to the idea of solid food, and give her the chance to sample it. Canned food with dry out and get crusty. You can put some dry kitten food in a little water to soften it up. It'll also give her the chance to start drinking a little water.

How many hours will you be in school? Is there someone who could check on her and feed her part-way through the day? How often is she eating, now?

And something to think about: have you set up a litter box for her, yet? It needs to be low enough she can get into it without having to jump or climb, or she won't use it. I used a disposable tin baking pan when my kittens were tiny. Just fill it with enough litter to cover the very bottom, and clean it whenever you notice it's been used. Kittens WILL eat the litter. They're just like toddlers, everything goes in their mouth to see if it's food.
