    What would make my lights turn on by themselves?
    When I turn on the light switch in one room the lamp in the other room comes on?

    How long has it operated correctly and when did this start? Is that other lamp controlled by a wall switch, remote or a built in switch in the lamp socket?

    Hi breezy and welcome to AMHD. Sounds like the lamps outlet is control by the switch, sometimes they only make one of the plugs switched, so try to plug the lamp in the other plug of the outlet and see if that helps. Post back and let me know if it works. Good luck
