Do you mean that at night time you are getting scared because of the thought of ghosts in your home, and this in turn makes the dog nervous and excitable as well?

If that's the case, relax, your dog like all dogs will pick up on your nervousness. They will react on your fear. You are either really an excitable person or your dogs is very in-tune to your feelings, usually nervous thoughts won't an excite a dog that much.

Maybe you need to worry about why you think there are ghosts in the home, once your mind is at ease your dog will be too.
