    EXL8000 15HP Generator will not idle
    I have new EXL8000 15Hp Generator that will not idle.
    Manually, I can throttle back, but when I release govener... runs full speed.

    Could this be a MFG defect?
    Will running full speed with no load eventually damage generator?

    The Generator is bigger than my car can handle so---taking it to my local authorized dealer is kind of hard.

    Any suggestions?
