Does a new furnace blower capacitor have to charge?
My furnace blower would not operate due to a bad capacitor. I was starting it by turning the fan by hand to get it started while the bad capacitor was still in the circuit. Just bought a new capacitor from Grainger, installed it and the fan won't start. Could it be that my blower motor is bad? How can I test it?

Capacators don't have to warm up. If a new component was changed into your system it should work immediately. Your motor is probably bad. Have you tested it with a multitester to see if good or bad?
