Sewer gas? Smell can't figure it out !
Hello, I have what seems to be a unique situation that no one can figure out. I have a periodic awful smell that emits in my dining room for 15-20 minutes then disepates. I have a bathroom (tub) that backs up to one wall of the dining room and a kitchen sink that backs up to another. The smell is not in ANY other room of the house. The smell only comes in the summer (not the winter) and seems to come more in the dusk/evening time. I was convinced it was sewer gas and had a smoke test done today - no luck. I am hoping to have a camera routed through the pipes that carry the gas up the roof later this week. Any ideas? (on city sewer). Thanks
