I would pull the battery and use a hair dryer or leave it on something warm overnight, Satellite receiver?

Rice is one of the tricks I've heard of to try and suck the moisture out of electronics.

To the original poster: Is there a button on the side or top somewhere that you can push to force the screen to dim off? Also try sliding the keyboard out and back in a few times.

But definitely make sure it is completely dry before continuing use.

It's also possible that this problem can't be easily fixed and that you will either have to send the phone in under some kind of insurance (if the insurance doesn't cover submersion, check if it covers loss ;) ), or you might have to get a new one/activate an old one.

Could be a bad battery or charger, You can test both with a cheap multimeter that is set for DC Volts.
