    Chair Art signed by Tickner
    Hello All,

I have a chair that was given to me by my mother. I have Googled the name and come up with a couple of people. Michael Tickner, of course. And a Lisa Tickner.

I contacted both and Lisa Tickner assures me that this chair painting is not hers. Michael Tickner said that if the color were "very bright" then yes it could be his. Given my limited knowledge of art I have no idea if this would fit into the category of "very bright" or not.

I, recently, sent these pictures to the gallery that handles his art to see if he would look at them and see if he could tell me anything but haven't received a response yet.

I was wondering if anyone here might know of any other artists by the name of Tickner that could have done this painting? I am also hoping that someone might be able to clue me in as to what style of chair this might be? Yep, I'm clueless about furniture too.
