I am 43 and he is 53, we have been seeing each other for about 4 months. We started being sexually involved after a month and half, until about 3 weeks ago everything was going good then the sex just stopped. Although I always had to make the first move, even that's not working now. He tells me sex is not everything. Please help me with some answers, I think he's just not attracted to me sexually.

Put the sex on a shelf for now. Get to know each other. It sounds like that's what he want to do.

Did you know him before you started seeing each other?

Four months isn't very long and it may be a matter of too much too fast.

It could also be a very wide variety of factors including health, medications, stress, exhaustion, too hot, too cold, too distracted, etc.

He can be attracted to you, but may not want sex or be physically capable of having it.

Do you ever attempt to kiss or cuddle when you aren't expecting sex? It may be his perception that all you want is sex or he is being pressured into performing when he isn't interested or up to sex.

Have you sat down with him when sex is not expected and discussed what is going on? Good communications and compromise may help you see if there is a future for this relationship or if you are on two different pages.
