    Can you help hook the wires for a Kenmore dryer part?
    I replaced the heating element for a kenmore dryer part #3387747 and did not note how the six wires were attached. Can you help me hook the wires in their proper place?

    I do not understand because only two wires go to the element. Where are the other 4 going? Give us a little more info. DrTom4444

    You took off the wires to the thermostats on the heater housing. With out a model number I can not tell you what colors go to where. If this does not look the same then do not do this hook up. There will be 2 wires coming from the motor side(might be red) One wire goes to the back thermostat and one goes to the heater. That leaves you with 2 short wires. One wire goes from the open side of the back thermostat to the front thermostat(right next to each other). The other wire goes from the open side of the front thermostat to the open side of the heater. If this does not help then post a model number and it will be easier to help.
